The internet is changing a lot I loved the article and here in Brazil we made a social network focused on exactly the same subject but our market is a niche social network, and we only have an MVP launch site in April 2020, where users enter in contact with other users via voice. But the great inspiration of most registered leads want a mobile app is this is a great idea that I must apply in our app that we should launch the beta version in July 2021.

Yuri, that's amazing - congratulations on the product! I've been reading a LOT about how people think there are plenty of niche spaces for Clubhouse-like apps, so it's great to see you've jumped on that opportunity.

I think making it available on mobile is a solid approach, because a lot of people on Clubhouse have said that they love that they can just carry their phone around with them to listen in on conversations as they do chores, or even drive (with the app on speaker phone). Even if you have a mobile version of a website that ticks these boxes, the benefit of having an app is the push notifications - I get notifications from the app telling me when the next interesting room is about to open up, when my friends are speaking in a room, etc.

Having said that, making an app is expensive and time-consuming (don't forget you need to get approval from the app stores, which can take extra time). Maybe consider a PWA (progressive web app) as a stepping stone if you don't yet have the time and resources to do a native mobile app?

Good Night Carmen

We are already well advanced, because I am an MBA student in Data Science and big data here in Brazil and my friend is a native iOS developer. We made a website just to be an MVP www.dronebook.com.br, and it has many similarities, mainly in the concepts even when we launched it in April 2020.

I loved the approach of a social network where people can connect very easily and a strategy focused on UX user experience.

We will also be launching this application in the USA, because our audience is very strong in your country due to the type of product we are going to work with and we were thinking about just having users who are really part of the platform because these are technical issues that we don't need to worry about with a lot of machine learnig at first.

Since jpa thank you for the attention and success. Talk about it this week here in Brazil you are out and about now.
